The kids are back in school, fall is right around the corner and the 46th Annual Manhattan Beach 10k will be here before you know it! Race day is October 7, 2023 with a 7:30am start. We expect to sell out and we’d hate for you to miss out on the fun. We have some cool surprises lined up for bib pick-up and our post-race expo just may be the best one yet.

The countdown is on for one of the best weekends in Manhattan Beach - Hometown Weekend! We are excited to start the tradition off on a healthy note with the 46th Annual Manhattan Beach 10k on October 7 at 7:30 am. We are appreciative of all the people who have registered for the race so far, we are just a few registrations away from being halfway sold out. If you haven’t had a chance to sign up yet, we encourage you to take the time now as prices will go up in early September.
Introducing The 2023 MB10k Finisher Tee
We are stoked to unveil the artwork by Jeff Carson for the 46th Annual Manhattan Beach 10k Finisher Tee! For this year's artwork, we were tipped off about Jeff's art by a local resident while she was registering for the 2022 MB10k. We hope you love his cyanotype process as much as we do. We’ll save you a Google trip - cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces blue prints using coated paper and light.

Sean Ryan of Postive Energy Physical Therapy & Sports Performance has been a local longtime sponsor and runner of the Manhattan Beach 10k! We asked him about his love of fitness and the importance of being fit as a family. He is also an excellent resource if there is something preventing you from doing the race this year. There is plenty of time to have an assessment by Sean, or his excellent team, to get you on track with your training to walk or run the October 7 Manhattan Beach 10k!

As part of our 45th Anniversary celebration, we have opened up an online Manhattan Beach 10k Swag Store for a limited time! Each item features the 2022 Finisher Tee artwork by Joe Vickers. We’ve got a coffee mug, trucker hat, tanks and tees. The Unisex tees are offered in long or short sleeve, cotton or tech. The women’s tank choices are cotton or tech, also.

MB10k Spotlight - Artist Joe Vickers
At the beginning of July we revealed our awesome Finisher Tee image, pictured above. The art is by Joe Vickers and it is absolutely perfect for our 45th birthday! We wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about Joe. He works on painting, drawing and writing out of his studio in Southern California.

We are thrilled to show you the Finisher Tee for this year! Our race shirts are the best ones out there, in our humble opinion. We have vowed to keep advertising off of them for the last 45 years.
