The Manhattan Beach 10k has been passionate about health and fitness since it was founded during the running boom of 1978! We have 42 years of history to reminisce and celebrate, the excitement of a 2020 Special Edition Race, and look forward to the years ahead. With this in mind, our MB10k race shirt is ‘throwback nouveau’ combining the design of 1982 with an updated logo for 2020.

The countdown is on! We're just over 50 days away from the 47th Annual Manhattan Beach 10k on October 5, 2024. Whether you're a seasoned runner or this is your first MB10k, now is the perfect time to secure your spot. If you have already registered, we’d appreciate you letting your friends and family know so we can donate more money to the community of Manhattan Beach.
On Thursday, August 1, we will be raising prices for the 47th Annual Manhattan Beach 10k by $5! The race takes place on October 5th. While the fall seems far from our minds as we are enjoying the dog days of summer, that is shockingly just over two months aways. If you have been thinking about running or walking it, now is the time to sign up and save yourself a few bucks. If you’ve already signed up, encourage your friends and family to join you.
If you haven't registered for the 47th Annual Manhattan Beach 10k yet, here's a gentle push. When you sign up by tomorrow at midnight, you will get our famous Finisher Tee size and style guaranteed. Your race bib will have a special marking and after you cross the Finish Line on October 5, you can head over to the guaranteed t-shirt tables. Make sure to arrive before the finish line is broken down. For those who have already registered, please give your family and friends the 411.

The kids are back in school, fall is right around the corner and the 46th Annual Manhattan Beach 10k will be here before you know it! Race day is October 7, 2023 with a 7:30am start. We expect to sell out and we’d hate for you to miss out on the fun. We have some cool surprises lined up for bib pick-up and our post-race expo just may be the best one yet.
The countdown is on for one of the best weekends in Manhattan Beach - Hometown Weekend! We are excited to start the tradition off on a healthy note with the 46th Annual Manhattan Beach 10k on October 7 at 7:30 am. We are appreciative of all the people who have registered for the race so far, we are just a few registrations away from being halfway sold out. If you haven’t had a chance to sign up yet, we encourage you to take the time now as prices will go up in early September.
This year we are offering the first 1,000 participants who register for the Manhattan Beach 10k a guarantee to get their Finisher Shirt style and size of their choosing. We are super close to coming up on that number and want to give you another chance to take advantage of this perk. You will not want to miss out on this year’s artwork, its pretty darn sweet!
